When I first started at Made by Things, they were working on revamping their podcast, The CMD-Z show. As someone who grew up on PC I'm embarrassed to admit it took me far too long to realize what the title meant, but as soon as we started our conceptual work that became the key focus of the design. composed of a small team I worked with Shelby Hagerdon and Melissa Lee Johnson to produce a storyboard that worked with the podcast intro. From there, I worked with Melissa to create and refine fully rendered style frames which I then brought into after effects to animate the opening sequence for the podcast.
